Introducing: In-Home Yoga Classes

Updated: Jan 13, 2023

In November of 2022, I became certified as a yoga teacher after 9 months of study. I am so thrilled to announce that I am now offering in-home private yoga classes. I received my 200 hours of training through the 8 Limbs Yoga School in 2022, and I am registered with the Yoga Alliance.

This one-on-one time allows me to give you a personalized practice with a focus on alignment, strength building or therapeutic guidance for any and all of your needs. This is a great option for those who may feel intimidated by a full yoga class, need modifications for injuries and pain, as well as for those who want to build specific strengths in their day-to-day lives and/or personal yoga practice.

Massage before Yoga practice: feel more relaxed and less likely to injure yourself during yoga. Massage therapy can help to release tension in tight muscles, which can then be followed up with specific poses to further stretch those muscles.

Massage after Yoga practice: further deepen the relaxation of the body and mind.

Yoga mats and blocks can be provided for individuals or two people. Ask about special events or groups including bachelorette parties, birthday parties, corporate yoga, team building, kids yoga, family yoga, etc.

These in-home classes are tailored to fit your specific needs, and be designed with keeping any injuries, pain patterns, or limitations you experience in mind.

Feel free to reach out with any questions you may have. Email, call or text to schedule your session, and please let me know your location and days/times that generally work best for you.

Pricing for Wake Forest/Raleigh area:

$110 for 60 minutes blend of massage/yoga

$150 for 90 minutes blend of massage/yoga

$75 for just Private Yoga One hour in-home

$5 per additional student for couples/group yoga in-home

My younger sister and I completed our yoga training together, and enjoyed a retreat at the beach to conclude our journey.

Becky is also available to provide in-home yoga instruction, especially those who are are looking to build upon poses that are more challenging such as headstands and backbends. She was a professional dancer and has been teaching dance for many years. She is also a wonderful teacher with kids and teens, helping to guide them in their balancing journey with a graceful and joyful energy.

Thank you for evolving with Bodywork by Amy and trying a new kind of therapy for balancing the Mind, Body, and Spirit.

Have a wonderful day!

Amy
