Local, holistic wellness friends of Bodywork by Amy

You know what they say...it takes a village. That's not just for raising children, but also for personal healing, spiritual development, and reducing physical and mental pain.

As a massage therapist and artist, I understand I don't have all of the necessary tools to help everybody's ailments and struggles. That is why I love sharing referrals to my favorite wellness friends. All of the people listed below have helped me and many others with our personal goals and needs in their own unique ways.

I invite you to read more about the local wellness friends I enjoy referring my clients to...

Becky Cox is a woman of many trades and skills. She offers in-home personal training and yoga as well as dance/movement classes. Her mission is help clients feel their best by gaining strength, flexibility and connecting the mind and body through physical movements and nutrition guidance, in a personalized way. She serves the Wake Forest and Raleigh, NC area.

Dr. Ben Rotman pulls from a variety of healing techniques to help the nervous system relax by focusing on the mind-body connection. He offers adjustments for adults and pediatrics. My husband and I have enjoyed several sessions with him and enjoy his empathic and nurturing personality as well as his understanding of energy flow in the body and mind. Dr. Ben has a lovely studio space in Raleigh, NC.

Toby Matthews is a certified advanced Rolfer and licensed bodyworker. His background in movement and dance offers a well-rounded understanding of the body in space and how to feel more at ease moving about the world around us. My entire family has visited him and have enjoyed his therapeutic approach to structural integration, focusing on the spine and moving outward to problem areas. I have referred many massage clients his way because I trust his techniques and value his insight. Toby is based in Durham, NC, where he is a part of a Pilates and Physical Therapy studio and colleagues.

Marnie Blum combines a variety of healing techniques in her energy work to help people with their spiritual, mental, physical and soul-selves, guiding them to feeling more aligned with their true nature. She uses a wide range of sound therapy tools including frequencies, vibrations, and blends them beautifully with channeled guidance to provide intuitive healing to her clients. Her lovely space in Youngsville, NC offers a truly healing and energetically grounding environment that helps you feel safe and ready for personal growth and development. She also offers a lot of wonderful healing tools online, including an online shop with holistic, good-for-you products like essential oil blends, oracle decks, self-care products, unique artwork, and much more. I highly recommend checking out her offerings to see what speaks to you.

Diane Silvester is an empath, clairaudient, psychic and teacher. She offers consulting sessions to help you with answers and spiritual council. She is adept at many methods of divination including tarot, astrology, numerology and dowsing. Her online store is filled with beautiful, unique and ethically sourced products including rare gemstones and crystals, jewelry, ceremonial accessories, rare oracle decks, and much more. Diane is based towards Western NC, but her online store offers virtual services and shopping. She is the spiritual mother you've always needed!

Thanks for reading about my local wellness friends. Let me know if you have any questions or if you need help getting in touch with any of them :)
